About Us
Die E2H2-DriveSystems GmbH ist ein Zusammenschluss von Personen aus der Automobil- und Energiebranche mit dem gemeinsamen Ziel, emissionsfreie, zukunftsfähige und nachhaltige Fahrzeuge auf Europas Straßen zu bringen, und somit zur Dekarbonisierung des Verkehrssektors beizutragen. Hierfür bringt unser Team langjährige Erfahrung im Bereich der Elektrifizierung sowie der Entwicklung von Brennstoffzellenlösungen im automobilen Kontext mit. Neben dem notwendigen theoretischen Wissen überzeugen wir auch durch unser praktisches Know-how bei der Umrüstung auf CO2-freie Antriebe.

Our services
We are a vehicle converter specializing in commercial vehicles. Here we upgrade diesel vehicles to battery electric or hydrogen electric vehicles.
E2H2 stands for Electric 2 Hydrogen. For us, the name says it all. Therefore, we also offer a conversion of battery electric vehicles to fuel cell electric vehicles, so that fleet customers who have opted for battery electric vehicles due to insufficiently developed hydrogen infrastructures do not have to replace their fleet in a second step, but can have it converted to fuel cell electric vehicles.
Conversion process
1. inquiry and analysis
After your inquiry, we work with you to develop the requirements that the vehicle should meet after the conversion. At the same time, the vehicle to be converted is technically analyzed and all the information required for the design is compiled.
2. concept phase
We find a solution to integrate the new components such as battery, fuel cell or hydrogen tanks mechanically and electronically into the vehicle. In doing so, we make sure that as little space as possible is taken up in the passenger compartment by the new components, but that the performance of the vehicle does not suffer as a result.
3. conversion
The vehicle will be converted by us in Berlin. All components of the conventional powertrain will be removed and replaced by the new E2H2 powertrain.
4. commissioning
We take care of the registration and, after a comprehensive briefing, hand over the converted vehicle to you.
What are we retrofitting?
Buses
In public transport, the stock of diesel buses must make way for electric vehicles in the medium term. We convert diesel buses to battery-electric or fuel-cell electric buses as required and give your vehicles a second "green" life.
LCV
Our work tool! We have developed a drive kit that is designed for the tough everyday life of a construction site service vehicle. Convert your LCV fleet to battery or fuel cell electric vehicles with our help and get closer to the goal of zero emissions step by step.
Truck
Freight transport on the roads holds a high share in terms of CO2 and NOx emissions. Based on fuel cell technology, our drive kit for trucks offers high range and performance and covers the requirements of the industry.
